Enzo Ferrieri was an Italian journalist very much involved in the art world. In 1920, he founded his own literary journal/periodical that would feature classical and avant-garde endeavors in literary prose, visual arts, and theater. His inclusion of Stefan George's poetry in his journal communicated a linkage among the artistic mastery of Italy and Germany as well as bringing George's legacy to Milan in general.
